Employees are provided with four copies and the Employer is provided a file copy. The Federal and State copies are automatically filed electronically by Payrite. If you elect to use our online system, employee w-2s can be provided online in a secure environment for each employee. 1099s can be produced for any contractors that you paid during the year. > New hire reporting: New hire reporting is mandatory. When you hire a new employee, the employee's information must be promptly reported to the State. The State then shares this data with the Federal Government. Stale employees (employees not paid for thirty days or more) must be reported as a new hire (or rehire) once they begin working again. Payrite automatically assumes this liability for you to eliminate any potential non-reporting penalties. > Pay-as-you-go worker's compensation insurance: Through a partnership with The Hartford, and other national insurance carriers, we now offer pay as you go worker's compensation insurance. No more up front estimated or financed premium payments. Payrite will forward your wage information to the insurance carrier each pay period. The insurance carrier will then debit the account you specify for the exact amount of the insurance attributable to that specific payroll. > Direct deposit services: Employee checks may be direct deposited to multiple checking or savings accounts. Employee does not have a bank account? ... no problem, a 'Pay Card' can be issued at no cost. The employee receives a pre-paid debit card that payroll funds are deposited to each week. The card can be used as a (Visa / Mastercard) debit card for purchases or cash withdrawn through any bank or ATM machine. > Digital check signing: Don't want to use direct deposit? That's okay, Payrite can affix an authorized signature directly on your checks. This service may be used every pay period or only when an authorized check signer is unavailable ... due to illness, vacation, etc. > Envelope insertion: Payrite can automatically fold and insert checks (or check stubs for direct deposit advises) into dual window envelopes. Inserted checks can then be forwarded to your office or mailed directly to employees. > Garnishment processing: Payrite will compute garnishments each pay period and produce offsetting checks for the garnished amount.
